You can add friends to your Close Friends list to get a notice each time they post. You can transform these notices off at any moment.
How To Add People To Close Friends On Facebook
1. Go to their profile
2. Hover over friends on top of their profile
3. Select Close Friends
Note: You can add friends to more than one list or remove friends from a list.
Method 2
1. Open up the Facebook application.
2. Tap menu symbol in top appropriate edge > Friends
3. In the Friends tab, tap the Friend you want to contribute to the Close Friends list to view her/his Facebook page
4. Tap the Friends button > Edit Friend list
5. Select Close Friends, and then touch Done.
