You can add friends to your Close Friends list to obtain an alert each time they upload. You can turn these alerts off at any time.
How To Add To Close Friends List On Facebook
1. Most likely to their account
2. Hover over friends at the top of their account
3. Select Close Friends
Note: You can add friends to greater than one list or remove friends from a list.
Method 2
1. Open the Facebook app.
2. Tap menu symbol in upper best edge > Friends
3. In the Friends tab, touch the friend you want to contribute to the Close Friends list to view her/his Facebook page
4. Tap the Friends button > Edit Friend list
5. Select Close Friends, and afterwards touch Done.
