You can add friends to your Close Friends list to obtain a notification each time they upload. You can turn these notices off at any time.
Close Friends On Facebook
1. Go to their account
2. Float over friends on top of their profile
3. Select Close Friends
Keep in mind: You can add friends to more than one list or remove friends from a listing.
Approach 2
1. Open up the Facebook application.
2. Tap menu symbol in upper right corner > Friends
3. In the Friends tab, tap the Friend you want to add in the Close Friends list to view her/his Facebook page
4. Tap the Friends button > Edit Friend list
5. Select Close Friends, and then tap Done.
